New in the Gallery - Cufflinks, Brooches and Stickpins


I hope everyone enjoyed the best of the holiday season and is looking to a prosperous and healthy new year. To get the new year off to a good start, recent additions to the  Antique Jewelry Galleries  include Art Moderne hematite cufflinks, a radiant star brooch by Hans Brassler, and a menacing lion with fiery eyes.


Art Deco hematite cufflinks. (J9334)

Hematite Moderne  Starkly elegant hematite and white gold cufflinks in the Art Moderne style of the 1930s.  A study in white and gray created by Carter, Gough & Co. in 14kt gold,  circa 1930.    Cost:  $865


Radiant Star  The pointed rays of a star accented with small white pearls and centered with a rich purple amethyst.  Between the rays are golden fleurs de lys.  A radiant pendant-brooch created by Hans Brassler in 14kt gold, circa 1910.    Cost:  $685


Fierce lion stickpin. (J9216)

Fierce Lion  A fierce lion stares with fiery red eyes and a menacing maw.  The regal image is beautifully sculpted with a rich flowing mane, bristling whiskers and menacing teeth.  Guess who's for dinner!  Crafted in 14kt gold,  circa 1910.    Cost:  $465
